Who is worse off?

Today I was sitting in my living room playing piano and I got to thinking....Who is worse off?
Now.... I know that sounds like such an odd question but really who is worse off? I look at the thousands of children in Africa who are starving and most of them do not even have parents. But then stop. What about the people here in the U.S.A? Those who are beaten day after day. Sure they get food, but sometimes not even. What about those men and women over in Iraq who can't talk to their family, lose friends, and are surrounded by death. What about friends and family right here in Redwood Falls? Who is worse off? I look at my life, my family has had its ups and downs. So have all families. But when you compare a family who has lost a father mother brother sister..aunt uncle...to a family who is so far in debt that they can barely put food on the table who is worse off? The child who has just lost their father? or is the family who can't feed their children? Are the children worse off in Africa who are starving or is the child here in the U.S who gets beat every day just because maybe they spilled milk?

I guess what I really am saying is we all have pain....Some pain looks different some looks the same but no matter how you look at it we all suffer from the same curse, we are human. But then that is where I stop again. Is it really a curse? With out the bad times in our lives we can never appreciate the good times that God has put before us. I think it is time for each and everyone of us to stop and smell the roses that God has planted in our life! Everything happens for a reason. Good or Bad. Some of you who are reading this may think I am dumb or that I probley have hurt you at one time or another perhaps I said the wrong thing to you, maybe you just don't like me because I am different....I'm sorry..But this is real and this is true. Stop and think about each bad thing that has happened in your life, give it to God, and say here I am. Trust me, God will use each endeavor to help you throughout your lifetime. He is always there, always watching, always listening...always quietly he waits at the door knocking now it is your turn to answer.

Grandparents

...Boy, you think I talk a lot, talk to my Nana for a hour and then tell me what you think you can't even squeeze four words in. "Sigh"

I argue with her it is not a pretty sight...   I do love her though.
